Aiming to remain among the best full-size sedans on the planet, the 2011 Chrysler 300 is blessed with new styling, a brand-new interior and a host of improvements and additions.

Chrysler's new corporate face that we've seen on the 200 sedan has been grafted onto the 300. The overall look is softer than the previous-gen model, but keeps its luxurious elegance.

The HEMI 5.7-litre V8 is back in the 300C, touting cylinder-deactivation technology and 363 horsepower. Chrysler's 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 is now the base powerplant, delivering 292 horsepower, 260 pound-feet of torque as well as improved fuel economy compared to the old V6 engines.

New safety features have also been added, including adaptive cruise control, a blind-spot monitoring system and a collision warning system. All-wheel drive remains on the 300's options list.

The 2011 Chrysler 300 will still be built in Brampton, Ontario, and its on-sale date has been scheduled for March. No Canadian pricing has been announced yet, but the base MSRP in the U.S. will be $27,995.
