Dodge Announces Pricing for Redesigned 2005 Dakota Pickup

follows: the ST Club Cab with 2WD will start at $24,505; the V8-powered ST Club Cab with 2WD will go for a base price of $25,180; the ST Club Cab with 4WD will begin at $28,075; the base price for the ST Quad Cab with 2WD will be $26,970; and the ST Quad Cab with 4WD will start at $30,725.

Like the ST the 2005 Dakota SLT will be offered with the 3.7-litre Magnum V6 engine as standard equipment, while making the two V8s optional. It gets standard tilt steering, cruise control, 16-inch aluminum wheels, fog lamps, dual rear seats, and power windows, locks and mirrors. The Dakota SLT starts at $26,725 for the Club Cab with 2WD; $30,355 for the Club Cab with 4WD; $29,080 for the Quad Cab with 2WD; while a Quad Cab with 4WD will set you back $32,835.

The name Laramie will once again designate the top-tier Dakota, and with that honor offer the 4.7-liter V8 as standard equipment. The high-output version will also be available as an option. Other standard features include an Infinity six-speaker 288-watt premium sound system, six-disc CD changer, 17-inch chrome clad aluminum wheels, OWL all-season tires, tilt steering, cruise control, leather seats, fog lamps, dual rear seats, 6-way leather power driver's seat, overhead console, leather-wrapped steering wheel with remote audio controls, and power windows, locks and mirrors.
