I sure found myself in a pickle, but I still believed that I could pull it off. Plenty could happen during the race, which is why I went all out and planned two pit stops that could have paid off should the safety car have stepped in. Unfortunately, the latter led drivers right from the start of the race and yellow flags compromised the first few laps, thus killing any attempt to push the machine. My hopes were dashed, especially since the Shanghai track offers few opportunities to pass.

I lost the drivers' title to Di Resta by five points. Even Paffett, who ultimately won the race, finished two points ahead of me. I was greatly disappointed and frustrated, but I managed to quickly turn the page. Life goes on, as they say. Now, I need to start thinking about, and training for the 2011 championship. My goal is to be stronger and faster than ever.

On December 6 and 7, I went to the old Reims circuit (currently open to public traffic) to try out the all-new Mercedes-Benz CLS AMG. I didn't break speed records, but I still got to experience the thrills provided by this amazing and superb-looking car. What a great time I had!

This coming Saturday, I will fly home to Quebec and enjoy the holidays with my family and friends in Montebello. I can't wait!

I wish you the very best for the New Year!

See you in 2011!
