AMG Mercedes-Benz DTM driver Paul di Resta has been invited to test with the McLaren Formula 1 team today and tomorrow on the Silverstone circuit.
The 2005 McLaren Autosport BRDC award lies currently in second place in the DTM standings and will be back on the English circuit October 20-21.
Although di Resta has shown great potential, it is somewhat cynical to see that the young Scot, who still has to finish the current season, has been offered that chance to drive the McLaren F1 car when two-times DTM runner-up, Canadian Bruno Spengler hasn't even been offered a single outing.
