There will be two Drag Reduction System zones at the Yas Marina circuit this weekend for the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Abu Dhabi.
Each of them will be located on a long straightaway.
The detection point of the first zone will be located 40m before Turn 7; and the activation point will be sited 390m after Turn 7's exit.
The second DRS zone will be located after the chicane. The detection point will be located 50m after Turn 9, and the activation point will be placed at the apex of Turn 10.
The circuit of Yas Marina is 5.554 km long.
Changes to the circuit since 2011 include: higher curbs, similar to those on the apex of Turns 8 and 9, have been installed on the apexes of Turns 5, 6, 12, 13, 14, 18, and 19.
