"I'm exhausted. I definitely need a break," Aguri Suzuki told during a press conference in Japan, where it was revealed that he has closed down the Leafield based outfit due to a "financial crisis".
Suzuki did not elaborate on the details of the collapse, including backer Honda's apparent decision to quarantine the team's cars in the UK and restrict Super Aguri's access to the Istanbul circuit this week.
The Japanese did, however, refer to the F1 world as a "piranha club and I kind of feel that I don't want to stick my fingers back in".
"The racing part I enjoyed, but lately all the discussions were about money and that's not for me."
Aguri Suzuki has also hit out at the CEO of Honda's racing division, Nick Fry.
Fry has been recently pessimistic about Super Aguri's future, earlier this week pouring cold water on the proposed Weigl buyout.
The Briton had said in March that Honda's support for the struggling outfit would from now on be on a "diminishing basis", adding that he would forthwith "push" for the Japanese manufacturer's focus on F1 to be "more singular".
"I don't understand how suddenly Nick Fry needs to be commenting on everything," said Suzuki. "Honda were our backers and he's not the CEO of Honda. I have no interest in Nick Fry whatsoever and have no idea what he was talking about," the Japanese added.
On a final note, Suzuki had a warning for his would-be successors.
"If someone wants to take part in F1, I'm going to advise them that he better not."
