Italian motorsport web site 422race.com analyzed the official data from the FIA technical delegate Jo Bauer and released an analysis of the engine situation of all the drivers of the top teams.

Here is the list of the engines used, blown and how many engines did just one or two races (of the three which represent the complete life cycle of an engine).

The data do not include the mileage done during free practice (these data are just available to each team).

Fernando Alonso (Ferrari)
8 engines used, 2 failures (Chinese free practice, Malaysian GP), 3 two-race engines

Felipe Massa (Ferrari)
