Edoardo Mortara became the first driver to win the F3 Macao Grand Prix two years in a row.

The Italian driver’s success was expected, as he dominated the event from the pole position.

The race was yellow flagged at the start and the safety car came out after a multiple cars accident. At the restart, Mortara was overtaken by both Daniel Abt and Laurens Vanthoor, his Signature teammate, but Abt crashed out few kilometers after, bringing out the safety car for the second time.

When the race resumed, Mortara was able to take the lead back from Vanthoor, and pulled away in front, to take his second consecutive win in Macao.

The Signature Team had a strong performance throughout the whole week-end. The French squad clinched 1st, 2nd and 4th at the end of main race. Valtteri Bottas took 3rd place.
