The new Ferrari GTC4Lusso was just unveiled at the 2016 Geneva Auto Show. This is Maranello’s latest interpretation of the four-seater concept.
The name refers to several iconic Ferrari cars such as the 330GTC and the 250 GT Berlinetta Lusso, which married extreme performance with a stylish design and sophisticated craftsmanship.
Power for the Ferrari GTC4Lusso comes from the latest evolution of the naturally aspirated V12 engine. This gem produces 680 horsepower and 514 lb-ft of torque from just 1,750 rpm, allowing 0-100 km/h sprints in 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 335 km/h. It’s backed by a host of technological innovations like 4RM-S, which is said to ensure exceptional handling even on low-grip pavement and superb stability and responsiveness in all conditions.
Aerodynamics were improved by way of new solutions including a slotted diffuser and a rear spoiler integrated with the hatch. Inside, the dual-cockpit concept was designed to enhance the shared driving experience for all occupants. The climate control, navigation, and sound systems are new, as well.
