The all-new Fiat 124 Spider Abarth will be on display later this week at the 2016 Paris Auto Show. The Italian company describes it as a “fun, unconventional car which is destined to become the icon of driving pleasure.”
The Abarth brand in particular is making more and more believers around the world. What’s not to like about a juiced-up version of the 124 Spider roadster? It’s lighter, firmer (with specific suspension and steering calibration), and more dynamic (with a standard auto-locking differential).
And because the sound is a fundamental element of all Abarth cars, the 170-horsepower 1.4L 4-cylinder turbocharged MultiAir engine comes standard with a Record Monza exhaust featuring a dual-mode system capable of modifying the path of the exhaust gas according to engine revs and guaranteeing linear torque delivery and generating a satisfying, deep roar.
Abarth will also present special versions of the 595 at the 2016 Paris Auto Show.
