Borba was the first Canadian to place an order for a LEAF. An electric engineer, he plans to use the electric Nissan as his family’s primary vehicle. “My family and I were starting to look for a new car last year when the Deepwater Horizon oil spill occurred and prompted us to think about alternatives to gas-powered vehicles,” said the new LEAF owner.

Nissan Canada will pursue delivery of several 2011 LEAFs in the coming weeks. Customers will be able to order 2012 model-year cars starting late October be registering on www.nissan.ca/LEAF and living near one of the 27 EV-certified Nissan dealers across Canada.
