Since the unveiling of Chevrolet Bolt EV concept two years ago, anticipation for the arrival of the production model has been strong and the cause of some impatience. Finally the day has arrived: the first Chevrolet Bolt EVs have been delivered to buyers this week in Quebec, Ontario and British Columbia.
One happy new owner is Claude Michel, former owner of the Réno-Dépôt chain, who took possession of his EV this week. It’s the second electric car for Mr. Michaud, who previously owned a first-generation Volt.
The new fully electric Chevrolet Bolt EV has a range of 383 km, and comes with a sticker price of $42,795 plus transportation and A/C fees, before taxes and the application of incentives (which vary from province to province).
