After months of anticipation and speculation, Subaru finally released the first official picture of the BRZ Concept - STI. A twin of the Toyota FT-86/Scion FR-S, it will make its debut on November 16th at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show.
Today's announcement marks the first time Subaru's STI performance division gets involved in the BRZ project. While they may seem trivial, those three extra letters speak volumes about the package that will soon grace Subaru showrooms.
The rear-wheel-drive BRZ - STI will feature a 2.0L, 4-cylinder, naturally-aspirated boxer engine, as well as a lower centre of gravity that will contribute to superior handling performance.
