Car 4 : 1988 Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser

Station wagons are a must in my book; I own and love my Volvo XC70. This Custom Cruiser was the ultimate full-size wagon in GM's line-up which included the Buick Electra Estate wagon, the Chevy Caprice wagon and Pontiac Safari wagon. All were powered by the 5.0L V8. Among this car's best features was the rear-facing trunk-mounted bench seat. With the back glass powered into its down position, cruising with your feet in the car behind you's face was priceless. Man, do I ever miss this one!

Car 5 : 1989 Mazda MX-6 GT

This generation of the MX-6 and 626 (1988-1992) was very good to Mazda as it turned out to be very successful and not to mention, reliable. The MX-6 was the sporty 2-door version of the 626. The one to get was the GT with its turbocharged 145 hp and 190 lb-ft of torque, 2.2L 4-cylinder engine. The base cars had a normally aspirated 2.2L that generated 120 hp... 145 in the GT? My a$$! God, this car was fast and with its 3-setting electronically adjustable suspension, it could actually handle.
