Ford is now recalling 7,353 vehicles in Canada to address a fuel pump issue.
Affected models include the 2013-2015 Ford Flex, Ford Taurus, Ford Police Interceptor, Lincoln MKS, and Lincoln MKT.
In some cases, the fuel pump’s electric module may be damaged due to high electrical current loads and stop operating. This would cause the engine to stall or fail to start. The malfunction indicator light may also illuminate.
Consequently, Ford dealers will inspect the electric module and replace it if necessary.
