You may already be asking yourselves: "just who is this sexist fool that dares to brush off girls and women in his first article?" I'll be honest and simply tell you what FLAG is doing here.
It's simple! I just couldn't refuse writing for my pal Daniel Lafrance, editor-in-chef of Auto123.com's magazine. He made me an offer I couldn't refuse, something like: "If you refuse, and I won't speak to you again in this life as well as in the next."
Of course, the money also accounted for my decision. Millions of dollars just as a signature clause and, after that, tons of money for each article written. It was an offer that was impossible to turn away, especially that...
But what the hell did the editor of Auto123.com's magazine invite me to talk about, I mean, to write about in these sentences? Cars, my friends, race cars, racing, racing guys, especially those who are closest to us. So, before we seriously begin, let me tell you a little about who I am. I'm a scribe of a niche, and my niche is one for guys. Sorry girls, better luck next time!

President of Flagworld Communications, an Internet company that specialises in the punctual updating of Québec's elite pilots' official sites, such as Gilles and both Jacques Villeneuves, Patrick Carpentier, Bertrand Godin and the Audette brothers from Audette Racing, among others. Since 1996, I also take care of publishing daily bilingual news online from the racing world on www.flagworld.com.
Of course, that makes us racing geeks, and it's in this particular niche that I'll pick up stories and news that will furnish this editorial in the coming weeks.
Being also president of the administrative committee of the Gilles-Villeneuve Museum, this position has allowed me over the years to accumulate a bunch of good stories on the most famous family of racing guys that Québec has produced: the Villeneuve family!
The Villeneuves, in the racing world, is like Celine Dion, Diane Dufresne and Ginette Reno in the field of music of Québec: stars, and only stars!
The Villeneuves are the stars of car guys! They are the models that the young racers like Andrew Ranger and the Audette brothers idolize. They are the Québec stars in the wonderful world of race cars, and we we'll continue talking about them as racing seasons go along.
Now, don't think that I won't talk to you about the up and rising young pilots that will be having fun all summer long, strapped in their infernal little machines, a few centimetres above the ground, in various karting championships around the province and, in certain cases, in the old country, representing the elite of Québec.
We will also talk about the hims and the hers, because believe me, there is a good female racing representation in Québec, local and national. So, for all those girls who disobeyed at the title of this article and who plan on taking a peek at this guy-oriented editorial on a regular basis, YES, we will also talk about the women!
