Ryan Briscoe will join his IndyCar teammate Will Power in Surfers paradise as he participates to the famous Gold Coast 600 next October.
The driver will once again compete with Team Holden Racing and most likely race with Garth Tander, just like he did last year.
This yearly special event requires that all regular driver find an international driver to share rides with. The starting grids are always impressive.
"I have fond memories of my IndyCar win at Surfers Paradise in 2008 and to go back as part of the Holden Racing Team last year was great," said Briscoe.
"The international field is shaping up to be really competitive, and with an international driver in each car the field will become even tighter."
Boris Said, Quebecker Alex Tagliani, WTCC champion Andy Priaulx and ALMS drivers Joey Hand and Dirk Muller have all confirmed their presence to this year's event.
