Ford C-MAX Energi to Rival the Prius
The C-MAX Energi, Ford's first-ever plug-in hybrid, will be making the connection with US markets this fall. The hybrid will be one of five EVs that Ford plans to roll out this year, including the Focus Electric (already on the market), the C-MAX Hybrid, the Fusion Hybrid and the Fusion plug-in Hybrid. Combining a gas engine and a battery-driven electric motor, the car's horsepower will be 188.
