Nissan drivers Lucas Luhr and Michael Krumm won on Sunday the GT1 championship race at the Paul Ricard after an already successful weekend that saw them lead the qualifying session and qualifying race.

The drivers led almost every lap but the few ones mid-way through the race, during the pitstops.

Krumm had started the race, building a gap of four seconds on rival Tomas Enge. Luhr had a harder time with the other Aston Martin of Darren Turner, crossing the start-finish line less than a second before him.

Enge and codriver Alex Muller finished in third ahead of David Brabham and codriver Jamie Campbell-Walter. Hohenadel and Piccini completed the top-5.

It was the last European round of the 2011 GT1 World Championship. With this victory, Krumm and Luhr take the lead of the championship standing.
