A Few New Products in 2024
In the meantime, a few tire manufacturers have taken advantage of the last few months to design tires that could eventually find their way onto our lists of products to recommend:

Falken Aklimate
Falken is a Japanese brand that was spun off from Sumitomo through Ohtsu Tire. Over the years, Falken has built up an enviable reputation with a range of performance products for both cars and vans, especially off-road.
This year, the manufacturer introduces its all-new Aklimate, an "approved" tire for all conditions, winter or summer. It comes with a wear guarantee of over 100,000 km and a 30-day trial period. We'll be sure to keep you posted.

Cooper ProControl
Given that Cooper is now part of the Goodyear fold, it's to be expected that this will result in new products. This year, Cooper presents the ProControl, an interesting and affordable touring tire with V-H and W speed ratings.

Hercules Roadtour Connect AS and Raptis
Still manufactured by Cooper Tires, Hercules tires are quality products in the most affordable tire segment. Its new Roadtour Connect AS is the perfect example, while its equally new Raptis R-T6 is the equivalent in the performance tire segment. Available with the exclusive 45-day "Trust Our Ride" trial!
Rovelo Instinct AS01
In general, we're rather cautious about tires of Chinese origin. However, as mentioned above, there will certainly come a time when Chinese manufacturers will have acquired the experience to send us reliable, quality tires.
We're talking here about Rovelo, which is in itself a sub-brand of Sailun, a company with research centers in Canada. Its new product is the Instinct AS01 for cars and vans, a budget tire that nevertheless offers a two-year road risk replacement program.

West Lake ZuperEco
West Lake is another Chinese brand that's starting to make its mark on the market, and its latest product is the ZuperEco Z-108, known as "high comfort".
Auto123 would like to thank a number of the titre manufacturers' public relations representatives, as well as Guy Hardiman of Canadian Tire and, above all, the team at Pneus Premiers Choix in Laval, Quebec, including Étienne Prévost, who helped us immensely with our research.
