Pirelli
The legendary Italian tire manufacturer has recently produced a really intriguing product. The Ice Zero FR is easily recognizable due to its large grooves, great for evacuating snow and slush. The rubber compound is pretty well adapted for icy surfaces and its ride, unlike the Toyo, is quiet enough. It’s generally priced in the medium-to-high-end range, and it’s also available with studs.
Pirelli, by the way, also produces a performance tire for luxury and exotic cars. The Sottozero 3 has a wider-than-average tread surface that fits well with the styling of those high-end vehicles. Though many owners in that high-flying car segment love the Sottozero, it does face stiff competition from other brands like Nokian.
