Great Prices, Strong Warranty and Better Than Average Quality Spur On Sales

Hyundai is growing by leaps and bounds every year because people are warming up to its high quality cars and SUV. Its competitive prices and comprehensive warranty may lure customers to dealerships but in the end its products sell themselves.

Hyundai Motor Co., South Korea's largest automaker, stated Thursday it expected its overall sales to increase by 10% in 2003 to $25.1 billion USD, thanks to a growth in its domestic and export markets. It's no wonder the company is doing well. It's prices are extremely competitive, warranty is strong and products have improved so much in quality the domestics are scrambling to catch up.

Kia's Sorento is beautifully finished, loaded with luxury features and drives as well as any of its competitors. That said it is priced below the lot and offers better warranty coverage to boot. Vehicles like this are making it difficult for domestic, and even Japanese automakers, to compete.

All good reasons for Hyundai Auto, of which 10% ownership is held by global auto giant DaimlerChrysler AG, said its vehicle sales would likely rise to 2.04 million units in 2003 from 1.85 million last year. DaimlerChrysler recently announced a cooperative engine manufacturing plant in the U.S. with Hyundai Auto and Japanese automaker Mitsubishi, giving them a competitive edge in the small car market.
