You weren't alone if you felt left out when Hyundai offered their Accent to Quebecers earlier this year for less than $10,000.

To help celebrate 25 years of selling cars in Canada, the Korean automaker offered their smallest car to residents of the small-car loving province at a significantly reduced price.

Now, shoppers elsewhere will be able to take in a similar deal.

Building on the Accent promotion, Hyundai has slashed $5,150 from the price of the 2008 Sonata. "We wanted to provide customers outside of Quebec a specially priced Hyundai vehicle that would be on the scale of price reductions announced earlier for the Accent in Quebec," said John Vernile, VP of sales and marketing at Hyundai Auto Canada Corp.

"We decided to extend the price reduction to the award winning Sonata that competes in one of the largest car segments outside of Quebec."

If the Sonata isn't your thing, you'll be happy to know that head office is also reducing the price of the 2008 Tiburon by $3,000, and offering a $4,200 cut from the sticker on the Tucson as well. These reductions give Hyundai a selection of 5 vehicles that start under the $20,000 mark.
