As well as ranking the Sonata first in its class, the 2004 J. D. Power IQS placed the Accent and Santa Fe second in their respective classes; Compact Car and Entry SUV.
The new Hyundai Tucson recently received the Automotive Journalist Association of Canada (AJAC) Canadian Car of the Year Award as the "Best New Crossover", as well as being named World of Wheels magazine's "Editor's Choice" for SUV/Crossover Vehicles under $45,000.
