George W. Bush left his native Texas to take residence in the White House for the next four years. A lot of people thought he was going to parade down Pennsylvania Avenue on horseback, instead, the newly elected US President went to take his oath of office on board a brand new shiny Cadillac DeVille. So, a new president, a new limousine.

Needless to say that at Cadillac's, people are none too proud to say that the latest presidential limousine is a DeVille custom built to meet the needs of the national leader. Of course, this Caddy designed for pomp and circumstance does not have the same specs as the production models. It is longer, higher, wider and more powerful than the DeVille sitting in the showroom of your neighbouhood dealership. But that's all we know about it since all other details are considered classified by the United States Government. It is easy to guess though that that vehicle is bullet-proof and must be equipped with a whole range of security devices. We can also mention that the step plate and the sunroof have been done away with in 1993 with the limousine delivered to Bill Clinton by Cadillac in order to prevent attackers from taking hold and entering the vehicle.

This time again, it's the Cadillac Division itself that produced this car rather than a specialized builder. It's a seven passenger vehicle with an adjustable rear seat and it's even equipped with a retractable computer. And George W. will have the chance to leisurely listen to his favourite country music on its top-of-the-line audio system which includes a 10-disc CD player.
