A 2017 Ford GT with only 7 miles on its odometer sold for a final bid of $1.65 million USD at a Mecum auction this past weekend. According to Ford, the sale was illegal and should not have taken place, due to a clause in the original sale contract that prevents buyers from re-selling the vehicle within 24 months.
