There was a lot of action on the track at the Sebring International Raceway as the three engine manufacturers were on hand together for the first time for the first round of testing.

The busiest driver of them all was Simona de Silvestro (HVM Racing) who yesterday worked a full eight hours and run more than 161 laps as she was continuing her on-track development/testing of the 2.2-liter, twin turbocharged V-6 Lotus engine.

Helio Castroneves and Ryan Briscoe (Team Penske), JR Hildebrand (Panther Racing), Tony Kanaan (KV Racing) and Marco Andretti (Andretti Autosport) were on duty for Chevrolet while Simon Pagenaud (Sam Schmidt Motorsports) and Scott Dixon (Target Chip Ganassi Racing) were doing their parts for Honda.

Graham Rahal of the Service Central Chip Ganassi Racing team will take over the driving duties from Dixon and Will Power is scheduled to get in laps in lieu of Castroneves on January 17, while the other drivers will get a second day on the short course.

Bryan Herta Autosport driver Alex Tagliani should be on duty this coming Saturday and Sunday at the Homestead track to conduct tests for Lotus.
