Ryan Briscoe’s contract with Team Penske has been renewed as the team announced that it would maintain its full three-car line-up for the 2011 season since a series of new sponsor announcements made it possible.

The Australian will be back alongside Will Power and Helio Castroneves as the team found new sponsorship that will allowed everyone to try and put their hands on next year title.

In 2010, Briscoe had a hard time staying out of the shadow of both his teammates as Will Power fought untill the end of the season for the IndyCar title while Castroneves finished ahead of him in the final standings.

Meanwhile, Briscoe has been named to join Max Angelelli and Ricky Taylor behind the wheel of the No. 10 SunTrust Chevrolet Dallara Prototype of Wayne Taylor Racing at the 2011 Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series season-opening Rolex 24 at Daytona.
