Ian Kopecky, who was prevented from running the Belgian Rally as his co-driver was still recovering from a crash, is likely to be back in the next round, in the Azores, next week, as they both should be fit to race.
Petr Stary suffered a broken collarbone after the team's Skoda crashed heavily during the Belgian Rally shakedown. Since he was unable to race, Kopecky was prevented from racing as well.
But team boss Michal Hrabanek is confident the pair will be part of the lineup in Azores Rally since Stary "is gradually recovering from his injury and we believe he will be prepared to appear on the start line," he said.
Championship leader Freddy Loix will miss the next rally, giving Kopecky, 2010 runner-up and currently 4th in championship, a chance to close up on him.
