In order to help in reducing the overall operation costs for the teams, IndyCar chassis supplier Dallara from Italy says it will reduce the cost of chassis parts next season by an average of 11 percent.
A spokesperson for Dallara, who has been supplying cars to the IndyCar series since 1997, says the savings will be anywhere from eight percent to 20 percent compared to 2008 for things such as radiators, wishbones and wings.
