Former IRL series' champion Sam Hornish Jr believes that is future is still in NASCAR and he categorically denied he is about to give up following a tough rookie season in the Sprint Cup series and go back to the IRL like did Dario Franchitti.
Hornish also denied that there is any substance in the rumours that were sending him back in the IRL with Penske, specially since Helio Castroneves is involve in a tax evasion scandal that could put an end to his career if found guilty.
Like Patrick Carpentier, Hornish says he would even consider stepping down to the Nationwide Series fulltime if he were to lose his ride in the Sprint Cup, before giving up on NASCAR.
