There will be a lot of action in the coming weeks in the IndyCar series as there will be six races in only six weeks!

In addition, the series will visit three short tracks in three weeks. The back-to-back races will start on June 28 with the SunTrust Indy Challenge at the Richmond International Raceway.

The Virginia race will be followed by the fourth annual race at the Watkins Glen International road course on July 6 and, finally, the July 12 Firestone Indy 200 at the Nashville Superspeedway.

Series leader Scott Dixon is on a roll, having won two of the past three races giving him a 35-points lead. Team Penske's Helio Castroneves is second and Dixon's teammate, Dan Wheldon, is 67 points arrears.

As a bonus, 50 laps have been added to the Richmond race that also has a new start time (8 p.m.). This four-week stretch is part of a segment that features six consecutive weekends of racing.

"I think it is going to be a mad traffic jam," Tony Kanaan says about Richmond. "Especially with more cars, I think it is going to be the most stressful race we are going to have this year."
