If there's one thing that makes any buy even better, it's a lower-than-expected pricetag. That being the case, Jeep fans everywhere

will be warming up their checkbooks in anticipation of the reduced price on the 2007 Jeep Wrangler and the first-ever four-door Wrangler Unlimited.

Chrysler announced pricing on the models today, reducing prices throughout the lineup by an average of $3,600. As if that wasn't enough to get the off-roaders juices flowing, the new model will carry an additional $1,200 in extra hardware compared to the outgoing version.

More than 6 decades of experience have allowed the Wrangler and Wrangler unlimited to undergo improvements in just about every area. Jeep claims upgrades were made to comfort, space, versatility, open air driving, on-road refinement, off-road capability and fuel economy.

The standard Wrangler starts at just $19,995, and the 4-door Wrangler Unlimited starts at $24,495. Maxed out as the Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon, the pricetag still comes in under $30,000. Prices do not include destination charges.

Three levels are available for each Wrangler: the X, the Sahara and the Rubicon. Both new Jeep models will arrive in dealerships this month.

Judy Wheeler, Chrysler VP of marketing says "With a starting price of under $20,000, the all-new 2007 Jeep Wrangler will continue to be one of the market's most affordable automotive icons."
