1:00 PM - Jeep introduced their Gladiator concept, a pickup-style vehicle sized between a Dodge Dakota and a Dodge Ram.
The Gladiator, which Jeep calls a "Flexible Utility Truck", features an extended cab, and resembles Jeep's existing TJ model. Its spare tire is fixed on the side of the bed, a styling flashback of Jeeps of yore.
Among other features, the Gladiator has part-time four-wheel drive, front and rear locking differentials, a winch, skid plates, and an "open-air roof". A notable feature is the extendable cab, made possible by a rear window section that folds into the cab.
The Gladiator is powered by a 2.4-liter, 4-cylinder engine that produces 163 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque.
Jeep calls the Gladiator "Functional, capable, and fun."
