Later this year, Kia will be introducing its first all-markets small SUV, as yet unnamed.
To whet the appetite of urban utility vehicle fans everywhere, the company has just released two teaser images, though it didn’t accompany them with any new details regarding the powertrain or its output, the fuel economy it will deliver or the technologies it will incorporate. We do know that the product will be technologically well-endowed, especially since it will be aimed primarily at younger consumers.

The designer added that no other vehicle in the segment currently offers what the new SUV will bring to the table.
The vehicle will be sold initially in South Korea starting in the second half of 2019. Global commercialisation will start not long afterward. In principle, we should be seeing the model make its first North American appearance at the Los Angeles Auto Show next fall, though that remains to be confirmed.
