Volkswagen prospered as sales shot up by 9.6% to 3,383 units. The Jetta was its most popular car among buyers followed closely by the Golf/GTI, and New Beetle. Audi boosted its sales by 15.4% to 698 units, thanks mostly to its popular A4.
BMW's 1,300 units sold in March is not necessarily an increase, the company didn't say stating only that its "year-to-date sales of 2,848 units remaining relatively stable with the same period in 2002." Its 12% year-to-date increase, however, is more than just stable.

Porsche has not only been on the rise since January 1, but its March 2003 sales improved on March 2002 by a stellar 51%, selling 137 cars compared to 91 during the same period last year.
At the end of March 2003, records show that Nissan's sales were augmented by 21.9%. Six thousand two hundred and eighty-four (6,284) vehicles were sold, a 6.9% upgrade from last year's March results. The Altima sedan was a major contributor to the boost; 19.5% of sales were attributed to the popular vehicle. Infiniti had its best month in history, led by the sporty G35 sedan and coupe. Eight hundred and eighty-five (885) cars found new Canadian homes; the increase was an unprecedented 60.6%. Calendar sales were up by 84%.
