On the flip side Aston Martin Jaguar Land Rover Canada sold a total of 294 units last month, but its overall sales suffered. Jaguar's 181 cars is down 25% compared with March 2002, but on the positive its classic S-Type sedan improved by 51%. Premium SUV builder Land Rover sold 113, down 26% compared with same period last year. Range Rover, however, sold well with an increase of an unbelievable 1,700% compared with March 2002.
Subaru also experienced a slight fall off in total sales, with 1,291 units in March.

Honda Canada's sales fell as well. The combined sales of Honda and Acura totaled 13,233; Honda selling 11,553 and Acura 1,680. Kalim Ansari, Executive Vice President of Honda Canada Inc. commented that, "recently we have seen a slight slowdown in the Canadian market due, in part, to global uncertainties and economic concerns. However, we are confident that the market will gain increased sales momentum in the coming months."
While this may be Honda's outlook, it doesn't seem to correspond with the majority of its competition, especially archrival Toyota which is up by 8.4%, representing their "best March ever".
