One year after introducing us to the GranTurismo, Maserati is back with another new model, the GranTurismo S. The automaker is offering something new under the hood of the GranTurismo S, a 4.7-litre V8 churning out 440 impatient ponies as well as an electric transmission, both part of the Maserati's DNA.

Maserati Quattroporte S

The GranTurismo S features brakes developed jointly with Brembo. Up front, the disc brakes are made of a steel and aluminum alloy and feature 6-piston aluminum callipers. The GranTurismo was designed by Pininfarina.

As for the Quattroporte S, the model that literally invented the luxury sport sedan class, it's now in its sixth year of commercialization, boasting 15,000 sales and 46 international awards.

Like its sibling, the GranTurismo S, it sports the famous Pininfarina emblem, and it benefits from the 430 hp turned out by the 4.7-litre V8. The car is equipped with an automatic 6-speed transmission developed with ZF.

Inside, a new console very ergonomically groups together the main controls. The Quattroporte features a navigation system as well as Marrone Corniola and Sabbia leather seats.
