Mazda's TAKERI sedan concept will make its global premiere at the 42nd Tokyo Motor Show on November 30th during the show's scheduled media day.
Showcasing Mazda's new KODO - Soul of Motion design language (also seen on the new CX-5 crossover) the TAKERI is set to bring ''a new level of strength and allure to saloon styling,'' Mazda says.
The TAKERI will feature Mazda's benchmark SKYACTIV technology including the new SKYACTIV-D clean diesel engine. It's not just about looks, but about performance and ride quality. Mazda's fuel-saving i-stop feature, as well as a regenerative braking system, will be part of the TAKERI engineering mix as well.
The TAKERI will be launched alongside the Japanese-spec CX-5 and the SHINARI concept.
