Mercedes-Benz is celebrating the 35th anniversary of the iconic G-Class with the launch of the highly exclusive G 350 BlueTEC Edition 35 and G 500 Edition 35 special models.
Both of them stand out with 18” 5-spoke light-alloy wheels in bright black, as well as front and rear bumpers, wheel arch linings, exterior mirrors and roof in obsidian black metallic. The body is finished in designo mystic white, palladium silver metallic, or optionally obsidian black metallic.
Inside the Edition 35 models, two high-grade leather upholstery and appointment options are available including two-tone designo porcelain/black and single-tone designo black. In both cases, red contrasting topstitching and an AMG performance steering wheel underscore the sporty touch.
Pricing is set at €84,900 for G 350 BlueTEC Edition 35 and €94,800 for the G 500 Edition 35. Mercedes-Benz has yet to announce the markets that will sell these exclusive models.
In related news, the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart-Untertürkheim will display a record-breaking 300 GD starting on Tuesday. This particular vehicle has travelled nearly 900,000 kilometres (a quarter of which was off-road) and visited 215 countries around the world for the past 26 years.
