Mercedes-Benz introduced a promising new electric car concept called "Generation EQ" yesterday at the 2016 Paris Auto Show.
The German automaker says it wants to show the world how electric cars can soon move into the fast lane. This concept, with the appearance of a sporty SUV coupe, gives a preview of a new generation of vehicles with battery-electric drives.
Two electric motors (with a system output that can be increased to up to 300 kW, or 402 hp) and permanent all-wheel drive deliver high-level performance. The battery offers a range of up to 500 kilometres, allowing long-distance trips. Naturally, occupants benefit from typical Mercedes strengths: safety, comfort, luxury, and functionality.
