With my boy-scout experience and the help of a shrewd co-driver, I was sure our team would finish first... until we got lost. There was not a single MINI in sight, so we had to turn back and find the right path. To tell you the truth, this happened on more than one occasion. Yet, we managed to drive all the way to the designated finish line -- without relying on any map, mind you...
Our adventure ended with a diner at a luxurious hotel in Western Montreal. Many prizes were awarded to the participants. Just like during breakfast, people took this opportunity to talk about their beloved rides, much to the satisfaction of the organizers and MINI representatives. After all, the ultimate goal of the MINI Rally is to bring owners together, whether they're young or old, rich or less fortunate.
As a boy-scout would say: "Mission accomplished!"
