improved. The same can be said of the new Endeavor sport utility, a car-based crossover SUV that effectually replaces the truck-based Montero Sport that is being discontinued for the 2005 model year. Where the Montero Sport is outdated, the Endeavor is state-of-the-art. The new model also boasts top-tier driving dynamics, besting unlikely competitors in road-holding such as the BMW 3-Series.

Other models, such as the Lancer and Outlander crossover SUV, deliver enthusiastic performance together with practical packaging. Mitsubishi's top-tier Montero offers a great deal of luxury for money, in a ruggedly stylish package.
