If you’re dreaming of experiencing motorcycle riding on a track, the T_SBK (Tremblant Superbike) Club in Quebec is an excellent choice for fans of strong sensations or those looking to improve their riding skills.

For the past few years, the T_SBK Club has been offering the opportunity to ride on one of the most beautiful circuits in Canada, the 4.26 km-long, 11m-wide Circuit Mont-Tremblant, that offers 15 turns with gradients reaching up to three stories high. It’s a fairly technical course on which passing is possible in angled turns at over 160 km/h, and allowing, on a full-fledged sport bike like the Kawasaki ZX-10R or an aggressive 2-cylinder like the KTM RC8R, back straightaway top speeds of nearly 260 km/h.

These track-riding days attract enthusiasts of free and fast motorcycle riding, by providing them with a safe environment in which they can fully experience their passion for the sport. Beginners as well as experienced riders looking to better their lap times can hone their technical skills here. Since 2006, the T_SBK has been giving its members the chance to ride their own motorcycles on the Circuit Mont-Tremblant and hold nothing back.

The formula is simple: in order to offer members the most on-track time as possible, the T_SBK Club opens up the course from 9 am to Noon, and from 1 pm to 5 pm. No group levels, no minimum or maximum time on the track – just you and your machine.

Several experienced instructors from the Canadian Superbike Championship are also on hand to help you improve your technique and riding positioning. What’s more, Marc-Olivier Labelle, owner of the T_SBK Club, supervises all to ensure everything runs smooth, while safety measures, essential for such an exercise, are fully implemented: signallers, gas pump handlers, ambulance and instruction session.

When time permits, I myself ride on the track to test out the latest version of a sport bike, or simply to let off steam: this is an excellent way to leave your daily stresses behind. As I often put it, I head for Mont-Tremblant accompanied by one of my psychiatrists from Clinic R. Last week, it was CBR; this week, GSX-R; next week, ZX-10R; and the week after that...
