And with that last point in mind, will JV finally take his revenge out against Richards by teaming up with his old champion Frank Williams? That remains to be seen, but at the very least it's not only an unsubstantiated rumor anymore. Sir Frank confirmed that he recently enjoyed an "interesting" meeting with the "fired-up" Francophone, and that JV may test for him later in the summer.

But before JV fans get themselves into a dizzying tizzy of excitement realize that this is F1 and nothing at all has been confirmed. Williams has also stated that Jaguar's Mark Webber would be their top pick if he was able to get out of his current contract, which runs for another year. But Mark has stated his loyalty to the British marque and most don't think the change is likely. Still, Jaguar has been for the most part nonexistent all season, and this has to be causing frustration to the amiable Aussie.

With Ralf Schumacher looking to leave his post at Williams BMW next season, it wouldn't really affect JV's chances of securing a ride, even if Webber was to win the top seat. After all, Williams would need to replace two drivers and therefore the talented Webber mated up with the proven Villeneuve might just be an ideal mix.
And who wouldn't tune in to next season's penultimate race to see ultra-rivals JV and MS shoot it out in two of the sport's top teams? The ratings would go through the roof!
