Canadian Robert Wickens won the Formula BMW USA Sportsman of the Year at the season-ending FBMW banquet at Road
Atlanta this past weekend. The award was presented by Alex Schmuck of BMW North America.
"I am honoured to be the Formula BMW USA Sportsman of the Year", said Wickens. "It's been a great season and winning this award really means a lot to me."....at the same event, Canadian team Autotecnica and driver Richard Philippe won the championship.... Nick Wittmer won the Honda/Michelin Challenge Series season finale held Sunday at Mosport International Raceway, but it was his brother Kuno who took the spoils by winning his first-ever Canadian road racing championship.
