Tracy to A1GP?
Rumours continue to circulate that Paul Tracy is seriously considering a turn
at the wheel of Canada's A1GP car before the season is finished. Tracy would add international appeal to the series, and would bring some other big names from other countries with him. Tony Kanaan is also said to be looking into an A1GP ride.
Spengler Quickest in DTM
Canadian racer Bruno Spengler was quickest in qualifying for the penultimate round of the DTM (German Touring Cars) in Instanbul. Spengler dropped to third in the Superpole session, and raced home to an eighth place finish amid very poor weather conditions, in his Mercedes Second Hand Cars 2004 C-Class racer.
"Visibility was really poor and braking for the first corner was like a lottery. Then I suffered from understeer; however, that disappeared in the end and I was able to score one point."
