Two-time NASCAR Canadian Tire Series's champion Andrew Ranger dominated the Streets of Toronto 100 on Saturday en route to a second consecutive win on the temporary road course of Toronto's Exhibition Place.

It was Ranger's 10th career road-course NCTS win and a series-high 13th overall. A late race caution erased Ranger's 3secs cushion and he finished only 1.074 seconds ahead of points leader Scott Steckly.

Fitzpatrick was running second coming to the restart for the green-white-chequered when he had to pit for a flat rear tire and finished 19th.

Road-course expert Robin Buck finished third, followed by Kerry Micks and D.J. Kennington.

Jason Bowles, who won the Keystone Light Pole Award Friday, also had to pit early with a spark-plug issue and wound up 21st.

Both Louis Phillipe and Jean François Dumoulin were able to go the distance and finished respectively 7th and 17th. As for Isabelle Tremblay, she finished a distant 28th after being involved in an accident on lap 18.

The race was slowed due to caution three times for 13 laps and the lead changed hands just one time. It was pushed two laps past its scheduled 35-lap distance.

In the standing, Steckly pushed his lead to 88 points over Kennington and 108 over J.R. Fitzpatrick. Thompson and Lapcevich are fourth and fifth, respectively.

The NASCAR Canadian Tire Series begins its two-race swing through Western Canada on Saturday, July 23 at Motoplex Speedway and Event Park for the A&W Cruisin’ The Dub 300.
