Two-time NASCAR Canadian Tire Series champion Andrew Ranger finds himself in a delicate position position as he is about to lose the support of two major sponsors prior to the upcoming season.

Auto123.com had already learned that negotiations between Ranger and his two main commercial partners, Procter & Gamble and Wal-Mart Canada, were at a stand still.

Now, we have learned that the manufacturer of Tide, which logo has appeared on Ranger’s car for a number of years, has decided to put an end to its partnership with the Roxton Pond driver. Wal-Mart Canada would also on the verge of announcing also that they won’t be back in 2010.

Bad news never comes alone as CJM Racing, the Nationwide team that gave Ranger a chance to drive in Montreal August of last year where he finished 3rd, closed its doors because of financial difficulties.

It is believed that CJM Racing was to give the former Champ Car driver another ride in the Nationwide series in contesting the with Watkins Glen and Montreal event this summer.

Manager Alan Labrosse confirms that he has started negotiations with potential sponsors but that it is too soon to make any kind of announcement at the moment.
