Though NASCAR Nationwide series point leader Clint Bowyer (Chevy No 2) led the most laps at the Richmond International Speedway Emerson Radio 250 race on Sunday evening, his car became loose enough to let Carl Edwards (Ford No 60) and Scott Wimmer (Chevy No 29) by.
Edwards won the race followed by Wimmer and Bowyer. Pole sitter Joey Logano (Camry No 20) ended up 7th.
Canadians D.J. Kennington (Dodge No 81) and Andrew Ranger (Dodge No 22) finished 27th and 33rd. In Ranger's case, he got hit by Australian driver Marcos Ambrose as he was fighting for a top 20 position when the Ford No 59 driver hit Ranger who in turn hit the wall. Repairs would set the young Canadian back some 15 laps.
